Volunteering At The Food Pantry!
On Saturday May 26, my committee and I volunteered at a church as part of our action. We filled up bags with canned food, boxes of pasta, bags of rice, and more. We filled up about 100 bags that would later be distributed out to families.
In the pictures places above, the first one is me graving cans of green beans to put in each bag. The second picture shows just some of the bags that were done. The third one shows boxes of food supply for babies. I found that very interesting because the donations are for infants and not only older people or kids. It was a lot of hard work but the feeling of being there knowing we were doing something good for a lot people who are in need of our help.

This video is helpful because it demonstrates how easy it can be to help out children who are hungry in the United States. It is as easy as buying a meal for yourself, but that can also benefit someone else who is in need.
