The Fire Project has made me reflect much on the problems that surround the world. All the research that was done made me realize that not many people do much to help out kids that need the most help. I still ask myself why do we allow this to happen, how can it be that we waste so much food and we don't think about the kids that are in our same country and even within the same community. I think the Fire Project was a great way for us younger people to get informed about these issues. It made most of us aware of what happens and with the action part of our project was the way to make us do something to help. With that I didn't feel completely helpless or useless about my project. With this anyone can help and you don't have to do so much. The smallest help is always appreciated. I think if everyone else would be more informed on issues they would most definitely want to help out. Knowing that 16 million children go to bed hungry is heart breaking, so more people will want to help out. At least donating a small amount of money or even food that we do not consume.
